Our first job was to strip the surface of the hardwood floor until we had a uniform and flat surface. This removed all the previous varnishes and finishing coats applied to the hardwood floor.

In the process of restoring a hardwwod floor

After sanding and cleaning the floor we repaired the damage left from the laying of a carpet, this included making good all the nail holes and in one area replacing one of the herringbone tiles.

The hardwwod floor has been restored to its original condition.

We then applied a number of coats of varnish, and finished off by polishing the whole floor. The result of this is a fully restored beautiful hardwood floor, the pride and joy of the owners.
